Dubeau, Denise
Denise Dubeau began her career in the government in 1983 as a forest technician. She then graduated as a forest engineer in forestry operations from Laval University (B. Sc. 1995, M. Sc. 1998).
In 2011, she also obtained a doctorate (Ph. D.) in industrial engineering from Montréal Polytechnic School. From 1995 until her retirement in 2019, she was employed by the Direction de la recherche forestière as a researcher on forestry work. She was particularly interested in the effects of site factors on the productivity of forestry workers during reforestation, brush cutting and tree marking operations.
She also studied the intensity of physical efforts deployed by forestry workers according to the degree of difficulty encountered in the field.
